Ingredients: 100% Pure Violet Leaf Absolute (Viola odorata)
Violet Leaf absolute is one of the most distinctive and evocative ingredients in natural perfumery. Cold, green, and intensely aquatic, it captures the raw, dewy freshness of crushed violet leaves — not the flower, but the leaf itself — with a depth that is earthy, watery, and hauntingly beautiful.
The fragrance opens with a sharp, green, cucumber-like freshness before revealing a soft, powdery, slightly floral heart. Its dry-down is cool and mossy with a subtle woody undertone, making it an extraordinary top-to-heart note in chypre, green, and aquatic compositions.
Violet Leaf absolute blends beautifully with Rose, Iris, Galbanum, Oakmoss, Vetiver, and Bergamot. A little goes a long way — it is intensely powerful and should be used sparingly.
Use diluted only. Recommended dilution: 0.5–1% in a carrier oil or perfume base.
